SwitchyOmega is a simple browser extension for Chrome and Firefox that allows you to quickly switch proxies in the browser.

Configuring SwitchyOmega

Create new profile

Install the SwitchyOmega extension and click New profile. Give your profile a name (for example Bytio).

You can create multiple profiles in SwitchyOmega for each zone on your Bytio account, so you can switch between them quickly in the browser.

Enter server (host) and port

Enter the server (host) and port in the new SwitchyOmega profile. You may use HTTP or HTTPS to connect, learn how to retrieve your connection details here.

Note that the http:// or https:// protocol prefix should not be entered into the SwitchyOmega Server field. Instead you should select the protocol in the Protocol dropdown.

Enter authentication details

Click the padlock icon to the right and enter the username and password for your zone.

Activate the proxy profile

Once you’ve set up your Profile, activate it by clicking the SwitchyOmega icon. Your requests in the browser will now be routed through your Bytio proxy zone.
