Alerts
Use zone alerts to manage your spend and be alerted when spend or consumption thresholds are near.
Set up an Alert on a zone to trigger when a zones’ daily or monthly spend (in $), or consumed traffic (in GB), exceeds the set threshold. In reaction to an alert being triggered Bytio can disable the zone (preventing any further traffic being routed through it), send a notification alert to all team administrators, or both.
Alerts are calculated in the UTC timezone.
To configure an Alert click the bell icon to the next to the zone.

Threshold
The value, in dollars or gigabytes depending on the Type selected, of the Alert threshold. The minimum threshold value is 1 and the maximum threshold value is 100,000.
Action
The action to take when the Alert threshold is met.
Ensure you have System notifications enabled in your Email preferences to receive zone alerts via email.
You can edit your email preferences on the profile page of the dashboard.
Using the API
You can use the Update zone API to manage the alert on a zone programmatically by setting the alert body parameter.
