Deprovisioned zones
If there is a payment issue on your Bytio account your zones will be deprovisioned after a grace period.
Grace period
If your account has a payment issue your zones will continue to be provisioned and resources allocated to them (such as IP pools in the case of reserved datacenter zones) for a 3-day grace period, however requests to those zones will fail with an HTTP 402 - Payment Required
response code.
If your account is on a Free Trial then the grace period does not apply and your zones will be deprovisioned immediately.
After the 3-day grace period has elapsed your zones will be deprovisioned and resources allocated to them will be released. De-provisioned zones are flagged on the zones page of the dashboard.

Reprovisioning
If you correct the payment issue within the 3-day grace period your zones will be automatically re-provisioned with the same resources as before (i.e. the same IPs in the case of reserved datacenter zones).
If you correct the payment issue after the 3-day grace period has elapsed then your zones will still be automatically re-provisioned, however there is no guarantee that the same IP resources will be allocated to them.
Causes
Payment issues resulting in deprovisioned zones can be caused by either:
- Your payment method failing when Bytio attempted to collect your minimum monthly spend amount (if you’re on a pay-monthly plan).
- Your account balance running too low to cover the standing (time-based) charges for your provisioned zones or when Bytio attempted to collect your minimum monthly spend amount (if you’re on a pay-monthly plan).
